Bringing Nordic and Baltic stakeholders together to shape the future of automated passenger transport

The first Nordic+ Autonomy Forum demonstrated a strong interest in closer cooperation across the Nordic and Baltic region. Despite different projects, priorities and approaches, many of the challenges and opportunities are shared. One message emerged clearly: the focus must now move beyond pilots and towards implementation, deployment and scaling.

	By the end of the day, we want to identify the key barriers where Nordic+ collaboration can make a difference. We also aim to connect organisations that share common needs and interests around opportunities for joint action, demonstration and funding.

What Drives Automation in Scaling Logistics Operations?

Together, we will explore questions such as:

• How do we move from pilot projects to implementation?
• What lessons can we learn from Ruter and other Nordic initiatives?
• What barriers still prevent scaling?
• How can Nordic and Baltic collaboration accelerate deployment?
• Where can we collaborate on funding, demonstrations and future projects?

The meeting will combine presentations, discussions and networking, bringing together public authorities, transport operators, cities, industry, research organisations and innovation partners.

This meeting is part of a broader Nordic+ initiative to strengthen collaboration on automated transport, support implementation and scaling, and contribute to European cooperation.

The next Nordic+ Autonomy Forum will take place in Gothenburg in April 2027, focusing on automated freight and logistics through a dedicated Demo Day, bringing together technology providers, operators, authorities and industry to showcase solutions and explore future collaboration.
