ITS Norway and VIA – the business cluster for transport infrastructure have a collaboration with Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University. The university’s students carry out an assignment during their studies organized as Eagle Consulting.
ITS Norway and VIA – the business cluster for transport infrastructure are the clients for each of their consulting groups from Eagle Consulting this autumn – with “test sites” and “rail operations” as their theme.

Rail operations:
VIA – the industry cluster for transport infrastructure has asked to compare the safety regimes for track operations in the US, Europe and Japan. They examine both regulatory conditions and the assumed further development of different runway concepts on the three continents.
They will give their final presentation on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 29th of November at 19:30-21:30.

Test sites:
ITS Norway has requested that Eagle Consulting follow up on a study they did in the spring semester 2022 – a study of test sites for automated vehicles in the USA. In addition, the students are asked to look more closely at automated long-distance transport and the taxi operations in San Francisco and Phoenix.
They will give their final presentation on Microsoft Teams on Wednesday 6th of December at 16:00-18:00.
