International Maritime and Port Technology and Development Conference and International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship – where industry meets academia.
Welcome to the joint conference of the International Maritime and Port Technology and Development Conference (MTEC) and the 6th International Conference on Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (ICMASS) 2024.
The MTEC conference alternates between Singapore and Trondheim and is held every two years. ICMASS is organized annually by the International Network For Autonomous Ships and has different venues. The joint conference is a meeting point for industry and academia and aims to present relevant scientific articles with clear technical applications, as well as more application-oriented results – MTEC and ICMASS bring together academia and industry from all over the world and showcase ground-breaking research and development in maritime technology, autonomous ships and port operations.
This year’s conference will be held at Scandic Nidelven in Trondheim, Norway, 29th-30th of October 2024. Trondheim, Norway’s hub for technological innovation, has utilized its rich maritime heritage to position itself at the forefront of maritime innovation. With the world’s first test area for autonomous ships, Trondheim has gained a leading position in autonomous ship technology through cooperation between maritime stakeholders.
