This webinar, 17th of June 09:00-11:00 CET, is part of the Nordic+ NEMU initiative, bringing together real users who are doing real things to shape the future of seamless mobility in the Nordic region.

NEMU is more than a project. It is a collaborative ecosystem driven by Nordic+ and its associated ITS organisations. By involving public and private actors, NEMU promotes data-sharing and connectivity solutions that use mobility data that has not been used before, unlocking new opportunities for smarter, greener transport.

A special focus of this session is on policy and governance, and how supportive frameworks can help scale cross-border, multimodal solutions. We particularly welcome participation from policymakers and public transport authorities to join the conversation.

Although the proposed EU MDMS regulation was not adopted due to a lack of support, a renewed effort is underway. NEMU will continue to follow the MDMS principles as guidelines, ensuring alignment with future European frameworks.

The session will feature updates from NEMU project participants, perspectives from the Norwegian State Secretary Abel Cecilie Knibe Kroglund, and a panel discussion on how the Nordic countries can move forward together and align national strategies under a shared Nordic vision.
