MODI workshop – National Strategies Shaping the Future of Automated Transport

Relevant workshop for everyone who works within European Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM).

The MODI project invites you to participate in this workshop which aims to discuss and explore national strategies for automated transport within the MODI transport corridor, which stretches through the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Focusing primarily on logistics, this event gives you a unique opportunity to contribute valuable insight to public decision-making processes that will shape the future of automated road transport.

The workshop takes place at Ruter‘s Customer Centre in Oslo, Norway, Wednesday 3th of April at 10:00-15:30 CET.

 

Program:
  • 10:00: The doors open.
  • 10:30: Welcome and presentation of national strategies/road maps for automated transport by national road authorities from the MODI countries.
  • 11:45: Main findings from MODI T4.2 – Develop optimal design of physical and digital infrastructure for public roads.
  • 12:00: Lunch.
  • 13:00: Industry stakeholder pitch: Two minute elevator pitch from industry stakeholders who share their perspectives on expectations and industry needs from public strategy processes for automated transport.
  • 13:30: Workshop.
    • Question 1: Stakeholders and responsibilities.
    • Question 2: The role of the state.
    • Question 3: Next step.
  • 15:20: Closing remarks.
