The EU project DYNAPORT will, over a 3-year period, develop internationally standardized tools for digital planning, interaction and automated reporting to make sea transport and port logistics more efficient, resource-saving and sustainable.

ITS Norway participates in the EU project DYNAPORT with responsibility for international standardization of digital communication between ship and port. This takes place through the standardization committee ISO TC8/SC11 (Ships and marine technology/Intermodal and short sea shipping), where we will also take over committee management from the new year. ITS Norway is also responsible for coordinating ICT standardization between DYNAPORT and the sister project MISSION.

In the recent press release from the project, you can read about what we have already achieved during the first six months – including:

  • Exchange of knowledge with, among other things, ports and ship owners.
  • Global coordination with related initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the MISSION Project – our “sister project”.
