An insight into drivers, challenges and opportunities.
During May-June 2024, the Nordic Battery Collaboration, consisting of Business Finland, Business Sweden and Innovation Norway, together with Nordic+, has conducted interviews with private and public actors in the value chain for heavy duty transport, with the aim of establishing a common view of the drivers, the challenges and possible barriers, as well as opportunities for sufficient heavy duty transport charging in the Nordic region.
The insight will serve as a basis for continuing the industry dialogues, highlight and lift the opportunities in the market, and be input for improving market conditions. The Nordics have piloted the electrification of transport, and our common ambition is to support continuous innovation and scale-up within this area, to meet the needs of the global market, and at the same time strengthen the Nordic ecosystem.
