Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 once again highlighted the strength of Nordic+ collaboration as a driver of innovation, visibility and impact in the European mobility ecosystem. Over four dynamic days, the Nordic+ Pavilion (Hall 2, Booth 02.216) served as a vibrant central meeting point where public authorities, companies, research organisations and international partners came together to exchange ideas and build new connections.
Located at the heart of the exhibition, the Nordic+ Pavilion offered one of the most active networking environments at Intertraffic. Throughout the week, visitors engaged with the Nordic+ community around intelligent, safe and sustainable mobility solutions, supported by an inspiring programme of presentations, discussions and visiting delegations.
A lively Nordic+ meeting place
The Nordic+ Pavilion functioned as a true collaboration hub, welcoming visitors, organisations and partners from across Europe and beyond. The programme featured presentations and pitching sessions, expert discussions and meetings with Nordic+ actors, reinforcing the pavilion’s role as a platform where innovation and cooperation come together in practice.
In addition to continuous activity at the pavilion, the week included official visits and strong engagement from the wider mobility community, underlining Nordic+’s growing relevance in European ITS development.
Nordic+ Night and community building
One of the social highlights of the week was Nordic+ Night at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, bringing together the Nordic+ community for an evening of celebration, conversation and networking in a unique setting. The event strengthened relationships across organisations and countries, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that defines Nordic+.

EU cooperation and funding in focus
Nordic+ also hosted a dedicated EU Brokerage Event, co‑organised with EIT Urban Mobility, to support Nordic+ actors in preparing for upcoming Horizon Europe and EIT Urban Mobility calls. Held on Wednesday 11 March, the event focused on collaboration, consortium building and identifying concrete next steps for European projects.
The brokerage event demonstrated Nordic+’s role as an enabler of cross‑border cooperation, helping organisations turn shared ambitions into concrete European initiatives.

From pilots to deployment – scaling Nordic+ solutions across Europe
A key programme highlight during Intertraffic was the Nordic+ session From pilots to deployment: Scaling Nordic+ ITS Solutions across Europe, addressing one of the most pressing challenges in European ITS: how to move from pilots to permanent deployment and scalable solutions.
The session explored how cross‑border collaboration between public authorities, industry and research organisations enables deployment beyond the Nordic region. Discussions highlighted themes such as AI and digital twins, big data and connectivity, connected and cooperative mobility, and smart traffic management. The shared message was clear: scaling ITS solutions requires trust, collaboration and common European approaches – the core principles of Nordic+.

Looking ahead
Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 clearly demonstrated how Nordic+ functions as a platform for visibility, collaboration and concrete follow‑up actions within the European mobility ecosystem. The Nordic+ Pavilion once again showed that Nordic and Baltic cooperation is not only innovative, but also practical, scalable and highly relevant for Europe’s mobility future.
A warm thank you to all ITS Nordic+ organisations, partners, speakers, organisers and visitors who contributed to making Intertraffic Amsterdam 2026 a success – and to everyone who helped make the Nordic+ Pavilion a truly open, active and collaborative meeting place throughout the week.
