ITS Nationals is now looking for a new Chairman and Vice-Chairman, as the two-year term of the current Chairman, Günther Weber (who has completed four years as Chairman and therefore cannot be re-elected to the position), and the Vice-Chairman, Dónal Hodgins, are coming to an end in June.

About the positions:

Both the Chair and Vice Chair positions require the post holders to attend two Plenary and all coordination committee meetings per year and to coordinate work with the Coordination Committee and associated Working Groups, between the meetings to ensure that the Network members receive a valuable service. The positions also involve representing the Network within the global ITS community.

In addition to the above mentioned form all candidates must:

  • Have the backing of the Board of their National ITS Association to serve on the Co-ordination Committee.
  • Have the time and funding to attend all CC meetings each year.
  • Have the time and funding to attend two Network Plenary meetings in various European locations each year.
  • Have the time to work on CC and wider Network matters from their home locations between these meetings.
  • Be prepared to serve for a minimum of two years.
