Rail is currently experiencing one of the most significant transformation periods in decades. Across the Nordic and Baltic region, more than €100 billion is expected to be invested in rail infrastructure, renewal and digitalisation over the next decade.

Major programmes such as Rail Baltica, Finland’s Digirail and Sweden’s extensive railway investment programme demonstrate the scale of this transformation. But the change is not only about new tracks and physical infrastructure. Investment is increasingly moving towards ERTMS, digital signalling, automation, connectivity, data and intelligent rail systems.

The Nordic+ ITS on Rail Webinar brings together experts from across the region to explore how this transformation is moving from major investment programmes and digitalisation towards automation and real-world operations.
