On 13 October, Nordic+ brought together rail experts from across the Nordic-Baltic region to discuss how railway systems are evolving from major infrastructure and digitalisation programmes towards intelligent and automated operations.
Rail is currently experiencing one of the most significant transformation periods in decades. Across the Nordic and Baltic region, more than €100 billion is expected to be invested in rail infrastructure, renewal and digitalisation over the next decade.
From Finland’s Digirail and Rail Baltica to Škoda Digital’s automation solutions and automated tram movements in Oslo, the webinar showcased how ERTMS, interoperability, connectivity, data and automation are already reshaping the railway sector
